God of everything that is,

 Jesus said, "Render unto Ceasar..."

but in this day and age it is too simplistic to just say "It all belongs to God."

At it's best Ceasar

  +builds schools and hires teachers,

  +creates parks and recreation areas for all to enjoy,

  +provides hospitals and medical care,

  +supports those in need.

At it's worst Ceasar

  +builds monuments to itself,

  +drains resources from those least able to afford the necessities of life,

  +sends young women and men off to fight and destroy, to kill and be killed, to injure and be harmed.

So of the everything that belongs to you help me think today

   +about what might also belong to Ceasar

  +and about where my allegiance lies.
