 Leaving - home, work, friends,

responsibilities - for

     a place called "Away".

 

So I just like that last line - it's from The Canadian Railroad Trilogy by Gordon Lightfoot - and was trying to work into it.  I don't know if it's "going away to college", vacation, dying?  How did it strike you?
